At Decency Matters, we imagine a world where people determine who they will vote for and where they will learn and work based on the values of basic human decency. We believe in a world where decency is expected, valued and championed.

We are connecting caring people and organisations who believe that it matters to have standards of decency determining our public discourse, organisational behaviour and community life. As an urgent priority, we will create a digital community of like-minded individuals and organisations that share the values of decency. At the same time, we will begin to address systemic issues by generating and disseminating new knowledge about decency and its values through formal and informal education channels.

Decency Matters will support research that demonstrates the positive impact that decent leaders, employees, teachers, and students can have on society and how human-centred decency can change the world. We will share our research through effective campaigns to educate and guide organisations across all sectors: for-profit, non-profit and governmental.

Decency Matters will also deliver mentoring programs for young people. We will promote the development of personal responsibility, positive leadership, and the ability to treat others with decency.
